Our furniture can always be chosen with any fabric you want. That is the advantage of own production and a close collaboration with the upholsterer. Regardless of which fabric you choose, you should think about choosing a high-quality furniture fabric that will last for many years both in function and in appearance. A fabric's durability is measured in Martindale. A guideline value for furniture in a home environment is usually at least 15,000 Martindale and for a public environment it should be at least 30,000 Martindale.
Different materials have different properties. A wool fabric is usually considered the best and most natural choice. The wool is durable, resists stains and burns poorly. It feels cool when it's hot outside and warming when it's cold. A woolen fabric does not need to be treated with a flame retardant. Our standard fabric consists of 100% merino wool and has a wear resistance of more than 55,000 martindale. The three shades of gray go well with both birch and oak.
Leather
We have selected three different leathers as our standard leathers. It is dark brown and black from Elmo and a natural leather from Tärnsjö tannery.
The leather from Elmo is called Elmosoft and is available in dark brown no. 93129 or black. Elmosoft is a soft and supple semi-aniline leather with high comfort paired with great durability. Elmosoft is suitable for both home and public environments. Visible insect bites and scars from healed wounds add to the leather's elegant character.
The leather from Tärnsjö is a light undyed natural leather that is vegetable tanned. The bare leather allows all the naturalness of the skin to emerge. The natural leather is extremely soft and supple but is sensitive to grease and dirt and can change color in direct sunlight. Over time, the leather will acquire a beautiful patina.
